My philosophy centres around inspiring others to take charge of their own health and well-being. In my experience, this responsibility can be very empowering and rewarding. Indeed, understanding the basics to a healthy lifestyle often gives the individual more enjoyment and confidence in making lifestyle choices that are right for them.

In my career as both a doctor and a model, I deal with the issues surrounding diet, health and body-image on a daily basis. From this privileged position, I have been able to see first-hand the impact that our lifestyle choices can have on our physical and mental wellbeing. It is also through working within these two professions that my personal interest in nutritional medicine has also been driven.

As a doctor, I am passionate about the principles of nutritional science and their application in the medical world. For example: the impact of antioxidants and phytoprotectants in disease; or the use of dietary minerals and supplements.

On the other hand, as a model, I am attracted to the role that nutrition and a healthy lifestyle play in affecting our outer appearance. For instance, how they may contribute to healthy skin, eyes and hair; how they can slow down the ageing process; and how they can ultimately make us more beautiful!
